Fineco Super Cup – Conegliano and Milan open the season at the Palazzo dello Sport in Rome

Saturday 28 September at 6 pm the replay of the CEV Champions League Super Final at the Palazzo dello Sport in Piazzale Nervi, home of the 2022 Italian Cup

Four months after the CEV Champions League Super Final which closed the 2023-24 season, the Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano and the Vero Volley Milano will find themselves against each other in the prologue of the new, adrenaline-filled year of the Lega Volley Female. The scene of the contest is the Palazzo dello Sport in Piazzale Nervi in Rome, where the two European finalists will take to the field to compete for the first 2024-25 trophy, the Supercoppa Fineco, organised in collaboration with Master Group Sport.

The appointment is for Saturday 28 September at 6pm, in a setting already known to women’s volleyball, home of the 2022 Italian Cup. Several stars of the Italian national team returning from the VNL and the 2024 Olympic Games, the debut of Gabi and Zhu with the panthers’ shirt and that of Danesi and coach Lavarini with the meneghine, the challenge between two of the best opposites in the world such as Egonu and Haak; an event that promises to be unmissable, between two teams that have been protagonists of epic clashes in recent years, not least the three finals of last season in the Supercoppa, Coppa Italia and CEV Champions League.
