In the advance of the 3rd day of Tigotà Series A1 , it was Wash4Green Pinerolo who smiled, for the first time in the season: after an open, balanced and hard-fought match, coach Marchiaro ‘s pinelle overcame Honda Olivero Cuneo in the derby, getting their first success and the first three points in the standings.
The best version seen so far of Coach Pintus ‘ Cuneo girls was not enough to get the better of their cousins. In fact, after a hard-fought first set and the initial 1-0 lead of the hosts (25-23), came the convincing response of the guests, led by Russian Kapralova ‘s 19 points and Bjelica‘s 16 , which was worth the 1-1 (19-25). But it was too much Pinerolo’s desire for points, which after winning 25-18 the third fraction also had the better of the fourth, poised until the end and closed 25-23. MVP of the day Malwina Smarzek, scorer of 23 points (3 walls), but Sorokaite (18 and a nice 57% efficiency in reception) and Perinelli (14) also did well.
