The Courmayeur Cup will be a global event, the friendly tournament organized by the Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile in collaboration with Master Group Sport, which will act as a prelude to the 2024-25 season of the Serie A Tigotà . On Friday 20 and Saturday 21 September, Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano, Savino Del Bene Scandicci, Vero Volley Milano and Igor Gorgonzola Novara will face each other at the Courmayeur Sport Center in the town of the same name in the Aosta Valley, effectively presenting the new rosters ready to battle until May.
The semi-final pairings are official, and will follow those of the last Playoff Semi-finals: at 5.30pm, debut for Stefano Lavarini and Stephane Antiga on the benches of Milan and Scandicci, while at 8.30pm Daniele Santarelli will take to the field with his Conegliano, last year’s champion , and Novara, led by coach Lorenzo Bernardi, third coach in the world-beating Olympic expedition.
A global event indeed, because there will be a wide range of ways of enjoying it for those who cannot be present in Courmayeur. In Italy, Rai Sport will broadcast both matches at 8.30pm on Friday and Saturday on digital terrestrial channel 58, while DAZN, ready to strengthen its presence in the world of volleyball, will broadcast all four matches of the two in live streaming days. Abroad, however, VBTV will be the reference platform for the four matches, with two commentary options, English and Portuguese, for all fans around the world.
