79th WOMEN'S SERIE A2 VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

The A2 Series Championship has 20 participating teams, divided into two rounds of 10 teams, for 18 total days of Regular Season. It will begin on the weekend Oct. 7-8, with the end expected on Jan. 21, 2024.

At the end of the regular season, the teams ranked 1st to 5th in each group qualify for the Promotion Pool (10 total teams); each team faces the 5 teams from the other group in round-robin matches for a total of 10 days. All points earned in the Regular Season are retained.

The final day is scheduled for the weekend of March 30-31. The winner of the Pool is promoted directly to the A1 Series.

Teams from 2nd to 5th in the Promotion Pool enter the Promotion Playoffs and face each other in the semifinals to be played in the best-of-three games with 2nd-5th and 3rd-4th pairings. The winners of the semifinals always face each other in the best-of-three games in the final that entitles them to the second Promotion slot, with the eventual Game 3 scheduled for April 28.

Teams ranked 6th to 10th in the two rounds qualify for the Salvation Pool (10 total teams). Each team faces the teams from the other group in back-to-back games for a total of 10 days from the last weekend in January to the first weekend in April. All points earned in the Regular Season are retained. The last five finishers in the Salvation Pool relegate to the B1 Series.
